Shipwreck
Beach
on
Lanai
Shipwreck
Beach is one of the most interesting beaches that you will
visit.
It's on the island of Lana, a short ferry ride from Lahaina
Harbor in Lahaina Town on the west side of Maui.
The
best beach on the island of
Lanai is Hulopoe
Beach on the south side of the island. In fact, it's just
a short walk from the harbor at Manele Bay.
Take
the ferry to Lanai from Maui. Photos

Maui
To Lanai
Ferry
Experience
another Hawaiian island and take the ferry
to Lanai from Lahaina Harbor. It's a short 45-minute ride
to Manele Bay and makes a wonderful day trip.
The
giant green sea turtles
seen in water around Maui are one thing you might experience
while snorkeling at various locations. They are called Honu
in the Hawaiian language and are an endangered species.

Airport
Beach on West Maui
Airport
Beach is just past the town of Lahaina on the west side of
Maui. It's an excellent beach for families and has a large
grassy area with nice restroom facilities.
Make
sure you bring a mask, snorkel and fins to Airport Beach,
as there is not place to rent equipment nearby. Also, bring
water, drinks, and food, too, as there is not a grocery store
or convenience store close-by Airport Beach.
Airport
Beach is very popular among tourists. It's also common to
see
quite a few locals there too, as the water is very clear in
the early morning hours and there is a wide assortment of
fish and sea life in shallow water.
